Leaving Richard’s Valley is an Instagram comic about a group of animals that have to leave the valley and discover the outside world. It’s black and white. There’s a quirky charm about the character design. The spider looks like a hand and the characters sometimes make fun of the spider because of that.

Do I just like black and white comics? Maybe. Another Instagram comic!
I enjoy that there aren’t a ton of characters in this comic, focusing on the immature main character and the characters that cater to him.
The Far Side by Gary Larson
I will always remember this book as the bathroom book. It belongs on the tank of the toilet. Gary Larson can pack a ton of world building into one panel. For instance, cow tools.
Death Wins a Gold Fish
Oh good, this one has color. A short book about burnout and finding joy again.
